Giorgio Chierchič alias Kierkič, was born in Ravenna (Italy) on the 3rd of October 1936.
He gets the diploma of clarinet in 1957 at Piacenza.
His activity as musician embraces classic music, jazz and the composition of movie sound tracks. Ever since his first years of life he receives the passion for sign and colour due to the influence of the school of mosaic at Ravenna.
He develops a personal and original technique, not academic, hard to measure with standard canons.
Encountering, in the 60ies, the informal painter Scognamiglio becomes determining for his choice of a life as a painter.
In the 1999 he was put in charge by his Town Hall of residence, the city of Vetralla, to realise 7 works on the topic "GENESIS" which will be in permanent exhibition during the year 2000 in occasion of the Jubilee.
The works have been executed on table, size 1.80m X 1.80m, with oil colours.
